The Greatest Story Ever Told: The Gospel
In the beginning, God created everything to be perfect. There was no sin or suffering, and
we had perfect communion with Him.
Humanity rebelled against God desiring to know all, and not trusting God’s spoken word.
Through this rebellion, sin entered the world and came into every human heart. Everything
is now distorted and broken. Everyone is guilty before God. Our communion with God was
broken by our SIN, which separates us from communion with Him.
Jesus, who is God in the flesh, came to rescue people by His death and resurrection. By faith
alone in Christ, anyone can have their sins forgiven and enjoy communion once more
with God. Sin has not yet left us, but if we believe in Christ Jesus and His sacrifice in our
place on the Cross, we can be saved. When God sees you He will no longer see the sins you
have committed but will see the redemption received by His blood and forgiveness of your sin.
The Bible says that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. By giving your life to Christ,
your sins are forgiven. No sin is too great for the love and mercy of God.
Everything will one day be restored. Christ will return, and when He does sin, death, pain,
and sorrow will be no more for those who believe. Those who put their trust in Christ will
spend eternity with God in heaven. Those who hear this Gospel and do not give their life to
Christ will spend eternity in complete separation from God in a place called Hell.
