RHC STUDENTS VISION:
The Student Ministry of Redemption Hill Church desires to make disciples who make disciple in the context of middle and high school students. We believe that Scripture clearly lays out that parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children, and we want to come alongside parents in this process.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Both High School and Middle School ministries meet from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays at the Church Building (2491 Salem Park Dr.).
WHAT DO WE DO:
On Wednesday nights we share a meal and catch up with one another before breaking out into Middle and High School groups. Once broken into our groups we have a time of teaching and discussion. We also incorporate fun activities and service projects to give the students opportunities to grow together and participate in the mission of God in their community.
The goal of this ministry is to begin to teach students how to have fun studying and learning God's word and to develop a personal faith in the work and person of Jesus Christ in Community with other students their age.
GOSPEL ABOVE ALL
People may think Christianity is dying, but this pronouncement is a little premature. Jesus promised to build His church, declaring that the gates of hell wouldn’t prevail against it. Along with this promise, Jesus gave clear instructions for how the church would overcome. He promised to build it on the rock of the gospel.
In this Bible study J. D. Greear examines what it means for believers to place the gospel above all other priorities in our lives and in our churches
