RHC STUDENTS VISION:
The Student Ministry of Redemption Hill Church desires to make disciples who make disciple in the context of middle and high school students. We believe that Scripture clearly lays out that parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children, and we want to come alongside parents in this process.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Both High School and Middle School ministries meet from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays at the Church Building (2491 Salem Park Dr.).
WHAT DO WE DO:
On Wednesday nights we share a meal and catch up with one another before breaking out into Middle and High School groups. Once broken into our groups we have a time of teaching and discussion. We also incorporate fun activities and service projects to give the students opportunities to grow together and participate in the mission of God in their community.
The goal of this ministry is to begin to teach students how to have fun studying and learning God's word and to develop a personal faith in the work and person of Jesus Christ in Community with other students their age.
The Letter of James
This fall RHC Students are going through the book of James. James helps us understand how a Christian is to live out the transformation that has happened in their lives through Jesus Christ. James calls us to not only to hear what God has to tell us but to live it out! “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” - James 1:22
