Family and everyone is welcome
Our Vision: To love God, live life together, and serve our community in order to see Christ-centered transformation among all people where we live, work, and play.
We believe that the Gospel is everything, and we are most satisfied when we are glorifying God. We seek to be a place for all people to find community and safely explore the truth of who God is.
OUR CORE VALUES
Jesus Is Everything
All of life is worship; therefore, we seek to honor God in everything we do.
Jesus deserves all of our worship. We believe that all of life is worship; therefore, we can honor God in everything we do. Singing His praises, loving our neighbor, bowing in prayer, and doing our work with excellence are just a few of the ways that we can worship. Above all else, we desire for our worship to be authentic. This means that our worship is Christ-centered, theologically sound, Holy Spirit-filled, and engages the whole person.
We give all that we are to know Christ and leverage all that we have for the mission of Christ. We seek to live this out intentionally by embracing these Four Priorities where we LIVE, WORK, and PLAY:
1. Intentional Devotion
Our personal devotion is essential for understanding our identity in the Gospel and how it changes all that we are and do.
In Christ, we are redeemed. He gives us all that we need for joy, fulfillment, purpose and meaning. We believe in our own strength our greatest longing can never be fulfilled. Therefore, we seek to know Christ deeply by devoting ourselves to His word and by leaning on Him through prayer. The Bible tells us that genuine faith comes by hearing and responding to the genuine truth of God’s Word. Whether we hear it through a Sunday sermon, discuss it in a small group meeting or read it at home, devotion to God’s Word is essential for understanding our identity in the Gospel, and how it changes all that we are and do. As we depend on Christ in all things through prayer, His strength is released through our weakness, and we are transformed by His Spirit.
2. Intentional Engagement
We engage in community to seek a better understanding of who God is.
We believe the Good News of Jesus brings us from death to life and places us in the community of faith. This community transcends age, race, gender, and socio-economic status. By engaging with our local community, with other Christians in Sunday gatherings, in small groups throughout the week, and in one-on-one relationships, we get a fuller understanding of who God is, and how He affects our everyday lives. We were created to live in community that we may experience the wonders of God’s grace as we relate to one another.
3. Intentional Generosity
We see giving our time, talent and money into the Kingdom of God as our privilege.
Jesus tells us that He came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. We, as followers of Jesus, should see it as a privilege to serve and give sacrificially so that the Gospel might be displayed in the life of the church, in our neighborhoods, and throughout our city. We see giving of our time, talents, and money towards the Kingdom of God as the greatest investment we can make on earth.
4. Intentional Mission
We seek to engage every man, woman, and child with the Gospel
Who we are determines what we do. As God transforms us, He gives us His heart for all people, both locally and globally, to know His great, redeeming love. We are committed to sharing Jesus in one-on-one relationships in everyday life where we live, work and play. In partnership with other churches in our city, we are on mission to give every, man, woman and child in the greater Winston-Salem area repeated opportunities to see, hear and respond to the Gospel. We actively support and participate in international missions. We believe planting vibrant, Gospel-centered churches is the most effective way to accomplish this mission.
Join a Small Group
We gather weekly in homes to hang out, share meals, encourage one another, speak into one another's lives, pray for one another, study God's Word together, and serve one another and our community. This is how we best discover who God is and how we relate to Him. Small groups are vital to spiritual health and discipleship. Find one near you, and join!
